A Story woven across two worlds

Founded in 2014 by Yuka Ishitake and Dr. Vivek Chaturvedy, Artisav Jaipur was built on a simple conviction: that India's indigenous textiles are among the most extraordinary in the world and that the artisans behind them deserve global recognition.

Yuka brought 18 years of experience in the international luxury industry and Tokyo sensibility and Vivek brought his indian roots and a lifetime of journeying across India, witnessing master craftspeople quietly moving to cities in search of work. Together they compliment perfectly and add soul to the brand.

Yuka Ishitake

Born in Tokyo, Yuka first visited India in
2007 and has split her life between the
two countries ever since. Drawing on 18
years in international luxury fashion, she
channels a refined Japanese design eye
into every Artisav collection.

Dr Vivek Chaturvedy

Creative Visionary & Co-Founder

A Jaipur native and dentist by training,
Vivek's travels across India revealed a
quiet crisis - gifted artisans abandoning
their crafts for urban livelihoods. His
mission became championing these
communities globally.
